Dr. Norma M. Longo
Originally from a ‘burb’ outside of New York city, Dr. Longo received a B.S. in Biochemistry from Mt. Vincent/Manhattan College. She continued her education at Georgetown University where she received a Master’s degree in Physiology while teaching as an Associate Professor at Dunbarton College of the Holy Cross in Washington, D.C.
One year later Dr. Longo attended Farleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey on a full Army scholarship where she received a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry. After graduation Dr. Longo began her military career in Monterey, California where she was accepted into a two year residency training program in Comprehensive General Dentistry. In addition to an intense clinical exposure to all specialty areas of dentistry, Dr. Longo worked on the hospital side in the Family Practice Clinic, treated trauma cases in the emergency room, and analyzed biopsy specimens in the pathology lab.
After graduation from this program, Dr. Longo spent four years in Germany where she developed and fielded the first mobile dental program in West Germany, the Netherlands, and Denmark. Dr. Longo moved to Colorado after returning to the United States and taught in a one year training program for recently graduated dentists from 1986 to 1991. During the Gulf War, Dr. Longo was the Mobilization Officer for the activation and deployment of reservists in the Western region of the United States and one year later volunteered to go to Saudi Arabia herself. Upon returning to the United States, she retired from the military and began practicing dentistry in Monument.

Dr. Cait moved to Colorado with her significant other, and they spend their free time hiking, going to concerts, cooking, and Frisbee golfing.
